In 2011 Sola Rosa jumped right at the helm of the kiwi soul movement with the international release of their album ?Get it Together?. Their trademark mix of soul, hip-hop, funk reggae and latin has been dubbed modern roots music for a reason. With two successful singles (?Turn Around? feat. Iva Lamkum & ?Humanised? feat. Bajka) and an extensive club tour throughout Europe and the U.S., Sola Rosa have gained a strong worldwide fanbase.

Before the band return with their brand new album later this year, MPM and SR close the ?Get It Together? chapter in an appropriate manner. We asked a number of international producers and beatmakers to re-work their favourite ?Get It Together?-tune - including cats like Suff Daddy, DJ Vadim, TM Juke, Jeremy Sole, Moo and Beatfanatic. The result are 21 (!) new versions, taking on influences as diverse as trippy dub and roots music to future beats, modern funk and electrified rock stylings.
